He currently has two locations there and they are both worthy of a stop whenever you are traveling down I57 from Chicago to Southern Illinois. When I met Nirav he was kind enough to assist us and continues to support us with some wonderful picks. We will be forever grateful for his generosity and guidance. If you find yourself near Effingham, you MUST stop by for an amazing selection and fantastic prices on some great whiskey.
Having lived in the Wheaton and Glen Ellyn area my entire life, I had stopped in Malloy’s countless times, hunting for whiskey there and at their other locations in Lisle and Naperville as well! When Steve reached out to me I was truly excited to meet him. I was so happy to discover that he was looking to partner with local groups to collaborate and select barrels with. Having a passion and drive to make his store a competitor in the area, Steve is making huge strides to improve his selection in Bourbon and Rye whiskies. He will be looking to improve his single malts as well down the road. We are so fortunate to call Malloy’s a friend to us and look forward to working more with them.
302 Wheaton has been kind enough to work with us for some out door tasting events and we look forward to doing more with this delightful locale more in the future. Now with 2 locations, still in downtown and their new Danada location. Eric has a lot of fun things going on here, and now and then there might be a bottle or two for sale. Be sure to stop by for a bourbon night and enjoy a delicious burger while sampling something unique. Oh and the beer selection is top notch as well. Located in the heart of Glen Ellyn and one of 4 locales including Burger Social (Wheaton), Burger Local and also Barrel+Rye (Geneva). These iconic restaurants have some of the best food around as well as some of the most impressive Whisk(e)y selections you can find.
